I'm a long-term VIPM user. I've been using VIPM at work behind company web proxy for many years. Recently it stopped working with proxy. I tried both "Use system proxy settings" and "Manual proxy configuration" to no avail. The web proxy itself works fine with browsers and various other software on the same computers. I'm attaching the startup error dialog and the error when attempting to install a vi package. I tested same VIPM version on the network without proxy, and it works fine.
