JKI Posted July 17, 2006 Report Share Posted July 17, 2006 Some packages need to run certain VIs inside the LabVIEW development environment during installation, in order to complete the package installation process. VIPM launches LabVIEW when installing these packages so that these VIs can be run inside the development environment, using a VI Server (TCP-IP) connection.
