vix
Hi, I'm trying to install VIPM in Linux Fedora Core 6. I checked, and the LabVIEW 8.0.1 Run Time Engine is installed. I downloaded the vipm-1.0-linux, but I receive this error message: Can't load LabVIEW runtime library /usr/local/lib/liblvrt.so.8.0 libOSMesa.so.4: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory The problem is that I have the shared object liblvrt.so.8.0 in /usr/local/lib/ (as expected), and libOSMesa.so.4 in /usr/local/matinst/LabVIEW-8.0/ could someone help me? Thanks in advance vix
Jim Kring
Hello, This appears to be an issue with the LabVIEW Run-Time engine resolving paths to shared libraries. It can probably be fixed by creating a symbolic links in the expected location to the shared library in the installed location. I'll try to find an answer. In the mean time, please try placing a support request to NI or posting on the NI LabVIEW discussion/support forum. If you do find the answer, please post it here, so that we know your up and running and perhaps it can help someone else who is having the same issue. Thank you, -Jim
