Vishal
So, I did a deep clean of my system recently from all NI stuff. I had too. Deleted everything and have now reinstalled LabVIEW 2021 and want to install my packages. but VIPM wont run from any location other than Program files. The shortcut on Desktop dosen't work, the start menu dosen't work. Any idea why this might be happening and how to rectify it??
Jim Kring
Hi @Vishal. Which version of VIPM are you running? Upgrading to the latest VIPM 2022 has fixed this for some people.
Vishal
Hi @Jim Kring, I did that and it worked for some time. But now I'm facing the same issue again. I noticed that the shortcutr references to VIPM File Handler in the support folder instead of the EXE. Should I change the shortcut's referencing to the EXE ? Also this issue started after I downloaded The LabVIEW Hobbyist Toolkit from Package Manager and had to repair it which due to dependencies repaired some files of VIPM as well. Jim Kring
Hi @Vishal. Can you try uninstalling VIPM and then re-installing VIPM 2022? I'm not sure why it's having this issue. The shortcut references to VIPM File Handler are correct for that version of VIPM.
