Farhad Majdeteimouri
i am using VIPOM 2023 Q1. I am trying to install the "LVHDF5" package by UPVI but VIPM does not allow me to download/install beyond version 1.0.4.52. It tells me that the higher versions are not compatible with my OS! I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling VIPM several times and also i have tried running VIPOM as an admin, none of these solutions has resolved the problem. When i download the package directly from UPVI website and try to install it i get their error: Main Package Name: Live HDF5 v1.2.2.5 Package Name with Error: Live HDF5 v1.2.2.5 Error Message: VIPM could not install the package lvhdf5-1.2.2.5 . tomlawton67
Same problem here, with the message "This package is not compatible with your operating system" - even though LabVIEW and OS are within acceptable range. Other packages are installing OK, so I believe permissions are good. I have a feeling the machine I'm on- which is now Windows 10 Pro- started life on Windows XP. I wonder if VIPM is detecting an old vestige of XP, and reporting the machine as such...? I can't see anything in System Information that's different from a "good" machine... Maybe it's <shudder>... in the Registry...? Any ideas? Edited Wednesday at 09:07 AM by tomlawton67 added error message in text
