I've hit the same issue several more times today, on different packages, across multiple computers - Error Code 42 and Error source "(http response "403" ...)" ---- Main Package Name: <package_name> Package Name with Error: <package_name> Error Message: VIPM could not download the package <package_name> from the remote server. Error Code: 42 Error Source: (http response "403". URL Requested: <package_URL>) ---- But stopping & restarting VIPM has fixed it each time. So not 100% convinced the issue has always been with the remote server or the low-level runtime(s) - more likely corporate network shenanigans' have been involved..

When I checked for updates in the version I was using - 2021.0 (build 2750) it said "Your software is up to date" Serves me right for not checking the web-site on a regular basis, given VIPM is such a useful application!

Installing the latest version seems to have worked, for the "JKI State Machine v2018.0.7.45" at least.

Hi @Jim Kring, the 'jki_rsc_toolkits_palette v1.1-1' add-on installed on a retry shortly after posting the original message. I've just retried the others and unfortunately I'm getting identical error details, tried each package on its own and all 4 in one go - no difference. If I manually enter the URL from the last line of each error section into my Edge browser address field, Edge downloads a ".vip" file, but I've no way of knowing if it's a valid file as I'm unable to open them.
