jgcode
VIPM 2010.0.1 Professional I need to investigate this one a bit more as I just noticed it. The product icon for the Package is blank, yet I have included one. I will see if it could be to do with the Enhanced Icon Editor 2009 and how it handles white as transparent? Version 3.x is ok Version 4.x (VIPM 2010) is missing Product Icon All fine in palettes tho (same icon) Here is a Jing Video http://www.screencast.com/t/KgOvaRU6 Thanks -JG
jgcode
Ok just tried a black border and seems to work. Painted the black border white (which LabVIEW makes transparent), rebuild and its fine. Weird. But this is happening across multiple packages (not just one). Jim Kring
Hey Jon, I can reproduce this issue. In fact, we've already been working on a fix (ping me and I'll fill you in on how you can help test it out) The root cause is that some packages built in VIPM 2010 seem to not have the following in their spec file. [Description] Icon = "icon.bmp" The "fix" is that VIPM now gracefully handles this missing icon info in the spec file. That said, your troubleshooting results (where you're able to fix the problem by adding a border and such) warrant some further investigation on our side, do dig down into the root cause of why the info is missing from the spec file. Thanks, -Jim
