vt92 Posted August 29, 2011 Report Share Posted August 29, 2011 VIPM 2011 running on Win7 with LabVIEW 8.6. I can check for packages, but when I try to install a package, VPIM hangs up. I re-started and then selected a single package and chose "install". VIPM tried to install the package, but then gave me an error: "This package is not compatible with your operating system or any LabVIEW version installed on your computer" Is this because LV8.6 is technically "not supported" under Win7? I just installed the LabVIEW scripting, JKI right-click framework and OpenG dynamic palette packages without a problem. I tried installing oglib-string. It failed due to problems with the OpenG Library dependencies. (but VIPM didn't hang up) The issue may stem from some of these dependencies not installing.
