RomainToro
Hello, I am using VIPM2020 and I'd like to rebuild one of my driver packages. The package was previously compatible with LV15, so I used the option "install requirements : Labview 2015 or later" to make it compatible with both my installations of Labview (2015 and 2020) But when I build, the package is automatically converted to "Labview 2020 or later", making it incompatible with LV15 (see picture before, after) What am I doing wrong? Thank you very much, Romain Toro
Jim Kring
Hi @RomainToro, Is it correct to assume you do have LabVIEW 2015 installed on your computer? Most likely, one of the VIs (or other LabVIEW files) in your package source folder got saved in LabVIEW 2020. In such cases, VIPM is trying to be "smart" and using LabVIEW 2020 to build the package (but it's not informing you about what it's doing). The solution is probably to try opening your source files in LabVIEW 2015 to verify that all of them are saved in 2015. Thanks for letting me know. -Jim
RomainToro
Hi Jim, You were right, after I retrieved the old LV15 drivers, I managed to rebuild the package to be compatible with 2015 onwards, and both 32 & 64bit. Thank you for your help! Romain
