Jeff DeBuhr
I just installed Vi package manager RC1 and wanted to check for new packages.. I updated the Internet info and tried to download. I got an error and it stated to check the network config. So I went back to the options and it was reset to driect connection. I tried to do this at least 5 times, pressing 'OK' to save the settings but none save. Also if I had the older OpenG commander can I just point to the Cache files and install those? I will be installing this on a NON-network PC and would like to have the same packages on both. Thanks Jeff Update.. after restarting VI Package Manager it seems to be working. Still need to find out how to transfer to another PC not on a network
Jim Kring
Jeff, We'll look into your issue and try to reproduce it. Regarding non-networked computers, take a look at this post: Transfering Packages to Non internet computers., How do I transfer packages to a computer not connected to the Internet Thank you, -Jim
